Our client, a well known leading Irish fit out specialist is currently seeking a Site Manager to join their Dublin based team. The client in question are operating a number of high end retail and office space projects across Dublin city and south Dublin. This is a Full time permanent position with competitive salary and ancillary benefits Role and Responsibilities: Overseeing fit-out construction operations on a day-to-day basis Ensuring that work is done safely, to tight deadlines and to the right quality standards Monitoring progress, overseeing delivery of materials and carrying out safety checks Weekly meetings Dealing with any problems which could hold up work as they arise Liaising closely with the Project Manager and members of the site team at all times Sub cointractor liaison Ability to handle pressure Liaising closely with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners Ensuring work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation as well as other legal requirements Delegating, motivating and guiding labourers Updating and reporting back regularly on progress The Ideal Candidate will have: Previous experience (ideally in fit-out sector) as a Site Manager with 5+ years experience A solid track record of managerial experience within the construction industry required Excellent communication, organisation & time management skills are essential Proven track record of working to strict timescales Previous experience on Infrastructure and Commercial projects Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation is required Package: Competitive Salary Company Vehicle or Travel Allowance Company Laptop Company phone, Pension Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
