Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Responsible for the origination of tailor-made market-linked securities securitized & OTC derivatives issued in response to a client lead order. Coordinate and support the activities of several internal and external teams through the securitization process. Play a key role in the development of securitized derivatives platform in the Americas. For certain technical builds, be responsible for developing (or directing the development of) software and user-testing of important components of the platform. Maintain continuous engagement with team members and business partners to determine where technology can increase scale in the Firm's business, design platform changes and work with technology to prioritize implementation. Serve as a technical advocate for the Americas in global initiatives on automation and infrastructure enhancement. Code securities documentation templates, such as final investment prospectus documents, to achieve automation while working with Engineering, Legal and Operations. Have direct supervisory responsibilities for one professional Associate Level employee based in New York, and indirect responsibilities guiding, advising and allocating work for another professional Associate level employee based in Bengaluru, India. Participate in the review and optimization of the structure and allocation of costs throughout the business, and identify model enhancements and cost saving opportunities.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related derivatives role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: software development using Object Oriented and Scripting Languages, such as Python and Perl, or similar languages; and software engineering experience including working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Quality Assurance (QA), software best practices, software deployment, and understanding of peripheral requirements such as hardware and database. Must have two (2) years of experience with: applying financial markets knowledge to accomplish origination of customized market-linked securities; applying high-level derivatives knowledge (ie product structure and terms) required for the creation and review of offering documents; and leading global initiatives including automation and infrastructure enhancement projects. Must have one (1) year of experience with: managing multidisciplinary teams on projects across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and MS Excel; using the cost structure of a business to identify cost saving opportunities and drive process and infrastructure enhancements; building securities documentation templates in code; and optimization techniques such as improving code efficiency, reducing variability and worst-case paths.
