Description:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Coordinates the delivery of quality nursingcare for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well asoperational issues during his/her shift. Provides clinical care asneeded when census demands. Communicates patient care, departmentalissues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s). Serves asresource for guidance and assistance to thestaff.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED:
Graduate of a nursingprogram.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
One (1) year of nursing experience ina hospital setting required.

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
CurrentLicense in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLCMultistate License.
BLS certificationrequired.

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) or more years of nursingexperience in a hospital setting preferred.
Bachelorsdegree preferred.
Advanced certification in field ofspecialty, if applicable (see addendum).
Demonstratedclinical competency.
