The Senior Tax Manager will work closely with the private equity funds tax advisors, accountants, investors, and legal counsel to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Senior Tax Manager will also serve as a subject matter expert on specialized tax topics related to private equity funds and investments.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax savings for the private equity funds.

Prepare and review complex tax returns, including Forms 1065, 1120S, 1041, 8865, and 990.Review and interpret partnership agreements, offering platforms, and private placement memorandums.Provide guidance on complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, and reorganizations.

Research, analyze, and recommend changes to current tax laws.Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax laws.Prepare quarterly and annual estimates of taxes payable.

Provide guidance on foreign tax compliance, including preparation of FBAR and foreign tax credit forms.Identify and resolve tax-related issues.Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences related to private equity funds.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with private investors, financial advisors, and other internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:At least 5 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a private equity fund environment.Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
