Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities The successful candidate will have a combination of roles including Portfolio Management for a key local client, leadership and mentorship to a team of junior and intermediate engineers and technical input to projects from planning to implementation and typical tasks include: The Senior Structural Engineer is a full-time position based in Vancouver, BC. Canada.Lead team(s) in the design of industrial structuresPrepare, supervise, and provide technical mentorship on analysis, modelling, reports, design and drawings for structural engineering design.

Develop work plans and budgetsLiaise with clients to determine client requirements and prepare proposalsMentor/direct junior staff and review work productControl project budgets/schedulesPrepare detailed analysis, design, and project deliverables including drawings, specifications and reportsLead field inspections of major equipment itemsSupport larger projects including: - Provide detailed analysis and design - Demonstrate Inter-discipline coordination - Assist with project reporting Travel as required for various field programs.QualificationsQualifications Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering (a master's degree is preferred)15 years of design experience in industrial structuresRegistered or eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British ColumbiaDesign experience in steel and concrete structures including trusses, bridges and supportsExperience with design and inspection of industrial equipment including conveyors, transfer towers, shiploaders is anadvantageExperience with seismic design, structural analysis software, and Microsoft Office is preferredExcellent organizational and time management skillsExceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal) Worley Consulting offers an excellent remuneration & benefits package, a friendly, professional, dynamic and flexible work environment along with the opportunity to develop your career prospects within Canada and overseas.For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is 124,156.00 to 182,583.
