This role will accelerate our ambition for the US, one of our largest growth markets. We expect the successful candidate to play a crucial role in the implementation and impact of our growth strategy throughout 2024 and beyond.You will be looked at as the primary business owner in your given book of business, reporting on client and industry insights to key leadership team members.

What you will be doing:Identify, qualify, and close business opportunities across leading and emerging sets of target clients and media agenciesEvangelize WeTransfer Advertising with key stakeholders, ensuring excellent understanding of our unique proposition and beloved brandCreate, own, and execute the strategic approach for each account in the assigned book of business with the intent to simultaneously unlock and elevate each relationshipOwn pipeline and accurate opportunity analysis to support forecasting and planningCollaborate closely with account management and ad operation teams to drive business results, optimize campaign performance and deliver superior client serviceUncover market insights within the account list, synthesize and deliver client feedback to shape our businessCreate persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studiesWhat you bring to the table: 6+ years of experience in digital media sales where you were driving significant revenue growth, leading and securing successful pitches, and creating lasting commercial relationships with brandsAccurate pipeline management; proven ability to meet and exceed sales targetsA deep understanding of the media landscape and how to proactively pursue opportunities An independently motivated contributor, delivering on strategic business growth objectives across large portfolio brands and holding companiesStrong existing relationships with top marketing decision-makers for brands and their agenciesAn appetite for learning, prospecting, and closingHigh-level presentation skills, able to captivate an audience of any size (in person and virtual), engaging senior-level decision makers sometimes with additional supportWho you are:A charismatic and credible sales professional with a proven track recordA strong negotiator, skilled presenter, and true team playerA motivated self-starter who can operate independently and collaboratively and has a passion for initializing and forging new opportunitiesBrings a high level of creativity and innovation to relationshipsConfident and skilled in securing key meetings with high-level decision-makersMasterfully handles objections, turning them into actionable, net positive resultsExcellent prioritization, organization, and communication skills - both written and verbalAdaptable, fast learner who responds well to change and supports others to do the sameCompetence and confidence to act as an ambassador for WeTransfer Advertising and WeTransfer as a wholeThis is an IC role and is based NY hubBased on the successful candidate's skills and experience for the role of Advertising Sales Director we have assessed that in New York this role would expect to pay a base salary of $170,000 - $180,000 with an OTE of $283k - $300k.
