Join Visa: A Network Working for Everyone.Job DescriptionVisa Direct is a payment service that Visa provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers) to facilitate fund transfers/disbursements to Visa accounts around the world using push payment technology, ie Original Credit Transaction (OCT). Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person-to-person (P2P) transfer, person to micro-business transfer (eg payments to landscaper), funds disbursement (eg insurance claim disbursements), bill payment, cross-border remittance and more.

Currently, the push payments market around the world is estimated to be an 80T USD opportunity. This role will report into the Global Head of Sales Origination on the Visa Direct Specialized Sales Team. This team sits at the cross-section of sales and product with a mandate to accelerate growth for Visa Direct across the world. The Sr.

Manager of Visa Direct Sales will lead commercial deal origination for Fintechs, Merchants and Enablers on the Visa Direct Global Business Development Team.This role will be responsible for delivering commercial outcomes with global merchants and global originators across the Visa Direct business. We will be working in a fast paced, agile environment, so this person must be proactive and excel with internal and external partners to ensure we achieve our goals.

Visa is looking for a sales leader with a track record of successful pipeline origination. In addition to business development experience, this a cross-functional team, so organizational savvy and interpersonal skills are critical.Responsibilities include:Own an aggressive global sales target for Visa DirectLeverage internal and external relationships to develop and maintain a robust sales pipelineOwn the sales lifecycle from prospecting/sales pitch to contract signature for top priority global clients in partnership with AEs and other cross-functional partnersLead work to overcome and remove internal and external blockers to achieve sales objectivesWork with finance business partners to structure high value, complex global commercial deal structuresSupport local, in-market sales teams with top priority sales initiativesProvide insight and market intelligence to global lead-generation initiativesBuild strong internal and external relationshipsWork with Visa Direct Product and Client Services Teams to lead technical sales solutioning conversations with strategic clients as necessary.

Flex Work Arrangement - Hybrid Position - This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications: 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (eg Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications: 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (eg Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD Creative Self-starter with a bias toward action and proven track record for successfully developing, building, launching and commercializing technology products that delight customers Background of client/partnerships management, sales, and or business development preferably at a global or multi-market level Industry related and leadership experience, including experience with commercialization teams, product management, strategy organization and/or management consulting Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on delivering for clients Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), and executive presence, must be able to interface with senior client executives Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to audiences in an approachable way to influence and drive adaption Passionate about what you do and excited about the opportunity to transform payments working for the industry leader Possess a high level of professionalism and leadership skills to build business relationships, trust and respect with business partners and suppliers Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating across functional activities, and obtain buy-in An advanced degree from a top school strongly preferred Visa or financial/payment industry knowledge required, push payments or real-time payments experience a plus.U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 214,600 to 279,000 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).
