Seeking Full Time PA to Lead the APP Team in the ED at Tucson Medical Center

Integrative Emergency Services (IES) is now hiring a Physician Assistant with at least two years of post-grad clinical experience in the Emergency Department. The Lead APP will lead the team in the Adult ED and Pedi ED.

Emergency Department Information:

• Separate Adult & Pediatric Emergency Departments & Clinical Decision Unit
• Volume: 72,500
• Admission Rate: 32%
• Patients/Hour: 1.7
• Physician Coverage: 69 hrs daily
• APP Coverage: 50 hrs daily
• EMR: EPIC

Hospital:

• Beds: 615
• Pedi ED Beds: 16
• Adult ED Beds: 60
• CDU Beds: 18
• Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Accredited Chest Pain Center
• Gold Plus Achievement Award

Shifts:

• Fast track: 7a-3p, 9a-9p, 3p-11p
• ED Extension: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 4p-12a

Required Qualifications:

• Two years post-graduate professional clinical experience in hospital Emergency Department
• Ability to lead a team
• Board-certified Physician Assistant
• AZ PA license
• DEA certificate
• BLS, ACLS & PALS NRP if working in Pedi ED
