Yellowbrick is well- funded with $248m raised from top-tier venture firms.Job OverviewWe are seeking a Product Marketing Manager & Developer Advocate to engage developers within the Kubernetes community.

This position requires extensive Kubernetes knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented organization.Responsibilities Market Analysis: Research the Kubernetes RDMS market to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapesProduct Positioning: Define the value proposition and positioning for Yellowbrick in the Kubernetes market. Identify Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and develop clear and compelling messaging that resonates with target personas.

Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to define Objectives and Key Results (OKR) for go-to-market plans for product launches and pipeline development.Content Creation: Create a variety of marketing collateral, including product datasheets, case studies, whitepapers, webinars, and blog posts, to support sales and marketing efforts. Community Engagement: Actively engage with the Kubernetes community members through the Yellowbrick Developer Community, 3rdparty communities, eg DoKC and social media.

Respond to questions, comments, and feedback. Be the primary focal point for an effective Yellowbrick Developer Community, including moderation, growth strategies, and conflict resolution. Advocacy and Evangelism: Promote Yellowbrick at Kubernetes conferences and meetups.

Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales team to provide them with the resources needed to sell effectively. Develop sales training materials and conduct training sessions as required. Customer Insights: Gather customer feedback to improve product messaging, features, and user experience.

Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Yellowbrick in the Kubernetes market. Regularly report on progress and adjust strategies based on data and feedback. Qualifications Deep understanding of Kubernetes.

Experience with RDBMS technology is a plus. Experience in product marketing gained in a b2b enterprise software company. Strong background in content creation, and community engagement.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Social media presence Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, especially across marketing, product management, and sales channels Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources Highly motivated with a sense of urgency and willingness to adjust in a fast-paced team environment Strong time management skills Self-starter with a can-do attitude We encourage people from underrepresented groups to apply.
