The primary focus of the job is AI/VR.Our team is looking for a candidate who is interested in working with softwares, camera systems as well as working with different design flows.

Embedded Software Engineer, Image Sensor and Tooling Responsibilities:Bring up new image sensors in linux or RTOS environments Build tools for image processing and testing of SW/FW.Participate in design reviews of SW/FW and HW.Must have skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.Experience in developing device drivers in linux Proficient in C, C+ and Python Experience with low level protocols such as I2C, UART, SPi etcProven experience working with cameras, and consumer electronic products.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with MIPI C-PHY/D-PHY interfaces.

Experience in embedded software development for consumer electronic products.Ability to navigate and understand large codebase in C/C+ Some front end experience, javascript, react.
