Electrical Engineer Role: The Electrical Engineer will work in the research and development department The hands-on Engineer will work with the entire product line and involved from concept, design, to production Will spend significant time creating statement of requirements, generating and maintaining BOMs, bug reporting and tracking in compliance with ISO-9001 standards Responsibilities include PCB layout and design and maintenance of product datasheets Will participate in engineering research and development Test sensors, record and interpreting data When required make firmware changes based on test results Responsible for troubleshooting, fixing and improvements Complex scheduling Electrical Engineer Background Profile: Required- Must have a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering At least five years' experience in an electrical engineering role or equivalent discipline Looking for a focus on firmware and/or embedded systems development C Sharp (C#) programming for software development and C programming for firmware development Preferred Experience- Ideally candidates with hazardous location product certification and/or intrinsically safe design principles PCB creation Understanding of electrical engineering schematics Microcontroller programming Microelectronic communications schemes Familiarity with datasheets and alternate components SolidWorks and Excel..
