Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Directs the activities of software applications development

Manages the development, installation, and maintenance of computer programs for business applications

Directs and coordinates activities related to the design, development and implementation of software operating systems

Plans, conducts, and coordinates business programming applications activities

Establishes programming standards and program documentation requirements

Reviews current status of system applications and prepares recommendations for improvements

Manages the development and implementation of web applications

Manages the technical programming and database development related to the organization's website

Skills Required:

Minimum 15 years' experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of software development life cycle(s) (SDLC).

Must have solid experience in writing SQL statements for data validations

Ability to design, develop, test and debug tests cases/scripts/plans/strategy documents

5 Years of experience in Payment Card transactions related

Proficiency with writing Proof of concepts

Experience using automation tools and apply CICD process

Experience working with Java-based RESTful, Web service APIs

Knowledgeable in reading app diagrams and user flowcharts

Collaborate effectively with all cross-functional teams and raise questions/clarifications on any vague requirements or functionality

Provide support during UAT phase and live deployment - executing smoke tests and validating/reproducing reported issues

5+ years of deep (really deep) Java experience including cross platform communication technologies such as Web API

5+ years of database design, SQL programming and performance tuning experience

Must have Azure and Amazon AWS would be an asset

Must have database and SQL coding experience such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL

Must have deep knowledge on IaaS, PaaS, SaaS

Education/Qualification and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science (M.S. in computer science preferred) and 10 years of work experience in related field

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization

Service-oriented self-starter who takes initiative
