MDM Data Governance specialist (Contract)

Location: The Hague Country: Netherlands
 

MDM Data Governance specialist:

Hague, NL

  • Thorough knowledge of Data governance concepts & Methodologies and ability to apply this knowledge in building and maintaining MDM solutions and relating them to business values and outcomes
  • Able to organize and streamline the data process with which data is collected, shared, utilized, protected, cleaned, and stored.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience and proven technical proficiency on governance process, frameworks and the various models.
  • Should be able to maintain efficiency and help from inaccurate data handling, unusable data.
  • Must have participated in and led the requirement gathering/solution architecture for MDM initiatives.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments.
  • Should be able to tie and also map the following to the business processes - compliance & monitoring, policies and standards, data inventories, full life cycle management, data quality, data classification, data security and access, data risk management, and data valuation.
  • Thorough knowledge in Data Quality and how this intertwines with governance.
  • Should serve as a liaison between both internal and external IT and business groups, should bring positive results via their governance of methods used by data stewards handling data.
  • Should help in increasing consistency and confidence in decision making with the help of data, decrease the risk of regulatory fines, improve data security, maximize the revenue potential of data.
  • Should be accountable for information quality, optimize resource effectiveness, establish process performance baselines for enabling data management.
  • Excellent communication, Customer handling and consulting skills with team leadership at the core with a clear focus on data management strategy.
