This organisation is focused on reinvestment, transparency, and promoting from within, offering technicians a clear future as the company continues to expand across the U.S. The Role You'll work within the Projects/Modernization division, delivering full modernizations and major repairs on hydraulic and traction elevators. This role is focused on longer-term, local projects, providing consistency and structure rather than constant travel. Key Responsibilities Complete full elevator modernizations and heavy repairs Install and commission Microprocessor controllers and door equipment Carry out wiring, fixtures, hoist machines, pumping units, ropes, and packings Perform inspections and annual safety tests in line with OSHA and regulatory standards Assess existing equipment and advise on upgrades or modifications Work independently or as part of a two-person modernization team Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer communication Experience & Qualifications Licensed Elevator Mechanic or Certified Elevator Technician 4+ years' experience in elevator modernization or heavy repair Strong hydraulic and traction elevator knowledge Confident with electrical diagnostics, controllers, and testing equipment Safety-first mindset and professional customer approach Full driving licence Comfortable with physical demands of elevator work Pay, Benefits & Progression Up to $60/hour (flexible for the right experience) Overtime paid at enhanced rates Free health insurance for single coverage Low-cost family and dependent healthcare options 401(k) with company match Company vehicle provided Funded training and CET development Clear progression routes into senior technician, adjuster, management, or leadership roles Relocation package potentially available Why This Role Stands Out You'll be joining a business with a long-term vision, significant ongoing investment in technicians, and a proven track record of internal promotion.
