The Role Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, you will provide technical support across shifts to optimise equipment performance and maintain tooling, ensuring high-quality, precision polymer extrusion. This role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem solving and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment. Key Requirements Applicants must meet the following essential criteria: Time served/qualified engineering technician High-level experience using lathes, mills and general workshop equipment Experience maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting mechanical equipment in a production environment Computer literate Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Proven experience working to very high tolerances (eg one ten-thousandth of an inch) Previous polymer extrusion and SolidWorks experience is beneficial but not essential Pay & Benefits Hourly rate: 26.16 per hour Night shift allowance: % Evening shift allowance: % During probation (6 months): 90% of base rate Additional benefits include: Competitive overall pay and benefits package Permanent, Full time employment Health insurance contributions and wellness programmes Pension, life assurance and tuition assistance Shift Patterns Night shift: Sunday 23:45 to Friday 08:15 Evening shift: Monday to Friday, 15:45 - 00:15 Other Requirements Fluency in English is required for this role
