Assistant Quantity Surveyor Dublin Tier 1 Contractor The Opportunity A Tier 1 Contractor with a strong pipeline of Dublin-based commercial and residential projects is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its site-based commercial teams. This is a project-facing role offering genuine exposure to live commercial management and a clear Pathway to Quantity Surveyor level. Key Responsibilities Commercial Support & Cost Control Assist in the preparation of monthly valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts. Track project costs against budgets and highlight variances to senior commercial staff. Support interim and final account preparation. Procurement & Subcontractor Management Assist with procurement of subcontract packages including enquiries, tender analysis, and comparisons. Support subcontractor appointment, measurement, valuation, and agreement of accounts. Project Commercial Administration Maintain accurate records of variations, instructions, and commercial correspondence. Support change control and cost capture processes. Work closely with site management to understand programme impacts on cost. Requirements Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics (or close to completion). 2 4+ years experience with a contractor or PQS. Exposure to live commercial or residential construction projects. Strong numerical, organisational, and IT skills. Ambitious and keen to take responsibility. Salary & Package Salary range: 50,000 65,000 DOE Company vehicle or travel allowance. Pension, life insurance, and income protection. Laptop and phone provided.
