Commercial Manager Location: Dublin Sector: Construction/Civil Engineering Salary: 120,000 - 145,000 DOE The Opportunity A leading Tier 1 Contractor is continuing to expand its Dublin operations and is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to take a senior leadership role across major construction projects. This position offers full commercial ownership, involvement from pre-contract through to final account, and the opportunity to lead and develop commercial teams on complex, high-value schemes. The business is known for its collaborative culture, investment in people, and long-term project pipeline in Dublin. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and manage monthly, interim, and final valuations - Submit applications for payment and reconcile valuations, costs, and contract positions - Provide accurate commercial data to support cash flow forecasting and reporting - Work closely with procurement to place and manage subcontract packages - Carry out detailed reviews of contract documentation, identifying risks and anomalies - Prepare, submit, and agree interim and final accounts with client representatives - Complete detailed take-offs to support estimating, procurement, and planning teams - Maintain accurate records of contractual events, variations, and delays - Lead, manage, and mentor contract surveyors, assistant surveyors, and junior surveyors Requirements - 10+ years commercial experience, ideally with a Tier 1 or large main contractor - Strong background across construction and/or civil engineering projects - Chartered or working towards chartership (SCSI preferred) - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills - Strong commercial awareness with high-level IT proficiency Salary & Package Senior salary range: 120,000 145,000 DOE Company vehicle or car allowance Relocation allowance where applicable Pension, life insurance, and income protection Laptop and phone provided Fully funded CPD and professional development Access to lifestyle and wellbeing benefits including Bike to Work and EAP Long-term career progression with a stable Tier 1 Contractor If you are considering a move or would like to explore this opportunity in confidence, applications and enquiries are welcomed
