What you'll be working towards

We are currently looking to engage with an experienced Azure Cloud Architect for an immediate start with a large UK government body. This is a large scale critical infrastructure project, starting with an initial 6 month contract. This role will require travel into central London once a week.

About You

• Strong knowledge of modern cloud architecture, with a practical, delivery-focused mindset
• Solid understanding of Zero Trust and identity-centric design principles
• Significant experience as a Technical/Cloud/Enterprise Architect, delivering large-scale, cloud-first end-user compute and identity platforms
• 2+ years' hands-on experience designing Microsoft Cloud architectures, including Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
• Experience of large-scale user and data migrations, including email, collaboration data, and identity-related changes
• Experience with modern device management for laptops (Windows/macOS) and mobile devices (iOS/Android)
• Ability to work closely with business analysts and delivery teams, translating business and policy requirements into workable technical designs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and awareness of scale and operational impact
• Able to produce clear architectural documentation and explain technical decisions to mixed technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and migration to Microsoft 365
• Experience working in security-constrained or regulated environments
• Security Clearance (SC) required
