LSA Folkestone - ASC Specalist
We are working with a well-regarded SEN provision in the Folkestone area to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated needs.
This is a structured, calm setting with a clear approach to behaviour, communication, and emotional regulation. The school places strong emphasis on consistency, teamwork, and providing the right support for both pupils and staff.
The Role: LSA
As an LSA, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to:
Support pupils in class and during transitions
Deliver targeted interventions and structured activities
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Help create a predictable, supportive learning environment
Support pupils with communication, sensory, and social needs
What we are looking for:
Experience working with ASC and/or complex SEN (school, care, or specialist settings)
Calm, patient, and consistent approach
Good understanding of behaviour as communication
Ability to follow routines and structured plans
Strong team player with a professional attitude
85 - 100 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only
