Job description:

Are you able to implement a Professional Qualifications framework for our asset management client based in Edinburgh city centre? If so then we may have the role for you. Within this role you will manage the creation of a new company-wide professional qualification and study policy and review the existing internal landscape to identify areas for improvement, consolidation and efficiency.

This is an initial 6 month contract based in Edinburgh.

Core requirements:

  • Experience of developing and implementing policies, processes and procedures. Desirably within a learning and development or professional qualifications context.
  • Capable of managing projects using a combination of good organisation skills and formal project management methods.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Data analytics experience.
  • Knowledge of learning and development best practice
  • Ability to independently own and be proactive with delivery of activity.
  • Able to undertake research activities, combining internal knowledge and external insights.
  • Focused on continuous improvement and development of processes and procedures.

Core responsibilities:

  • Conducting a thorough analysis of existing policies, processes and procedures to determine areas for improvement, consolidation and efficiency
  • Establishing and implementing a plan to deliver the project.
  • Developing the new policy and ensuring alignment with business critical requirements and the company's desire to build professionalism and capability in its working.
  • Developing new processes and procedures that deliver improvements and efficiencies, while maintaining critical support for the business for Professional Qualifications.
  • Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that proposed changes are fit for purpose and appropriately supported.
  • Ensuring that processes for colleagues to apply for Professional Qualifications support are clear, transparent and easy to use.
  • Setting up mechanisms to report on the progress and status of colleagues undertaking regulatory Professional Qualifications, ensuring the optimal use of HR systems to maintain records.
  • Establishing roles and responsibilities for all processes and procedures.
  • Documenting all policies, processes and procedures, and ensuring they are accessible.
