Transport Planner

Location: Coventry

Salary: Up to 42,000 per annum

I currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to join a leading logistics company at their site in Coventry.
As the Transport Planner you will be responsible for managing the companys UK to Ireland transport operations.

As a transport planner, your role will involve:

• Providing shipment updates and respond to customer inquiries.
• Coordinating transport bookings and plan loads efficiently.
• Assigning vehicles and give drivers clear instructions.
• Maintain communication with customers and internal teams.
• Handle PODs, job pricing, and general transport admin tasks

Essential requirements:

• Strong transport planning background (minimum of 2 years)
• Experience planning full and part loads
• Express freight experience

Experience of UK to Ireland transport operations as well as Import and Export knowledge would be highly advantageous.
