Main Responsibilities

  • Establishing and monitoring a project management structure; developing the project plan, allocating tasks as appropriate, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, considering best practice and current options and making decisions in the best interest of the project.
  • Engaging and communicating effectively with partners including schools, providers, parent/carers and children and young people, to develop and implement the new service model.
  • Organising and facilitating project meetings.
  • Establishing frameworks for capturing data and reporting on project delivery to key stakeholders at a local and national level.
  • Operating effectively in a flexible and demanding environment.
  • Management of budgets and identifying opportunities to deliver value for money and greater efficiency in the use of these budgets.
  • Co-producing solutions with partners in the system; drawing from local insight on lessons learned from the current CAMHS offer as well as iterative partner feedback.
  • Effectively engage with key stakeholders from across the system including local schools, training providers and partners in education, social care, and the CCG to enable development of cross-system approaches. This will include coordinating a regular project meeting with these key stakeholders.
