Keystream have partnered with a Central Government department who are looking for an interim Director of Finance for an initial 6 months. This role will require the occassional meeting in their Birmingham HQ rarely. The core aim of this assignment is to be the principle advisor to CEO and other directors on finance that enables and delivers the corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Actively help build the finance knowledge of the senior team.
Champion good governance, process and procedures to manage public money and support the Accounting Officer and Audit and Risk Board.
Guide the development of direct reports and build and transform the finance function to deliver excellent financial forecasting and accounts
Lead the finance, PMO and procurement division to deliver cost effective customer orientated services
Responsible to the Accounting Officer and Boards for the financial management of the business.
Development of future business and identifying best practice.
Good corporate governance through well developed and Embedded processes and procedures.
Management of risk and good oversight of fraud prevention and contract management.
Development of the annual Business Plan.
