Construction Project Manager-NEC/RIBA-Estates Security-London/Milton Keynes
A Construction Project Manager is required by our services client based in London for an initial 6 month contract. The role is offering 510 per day outside IR35.
You will be required to be on site 2-3 days per week. You can be based either in London (Westminster) or near Milton Keynes. The role will also require client site visits once per month.
The individual will be responsible for the planning and delivery of customer projects, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget and to the agreed scope quality standards, across the organisation's wide range of Estates and Security services.
The Project Manager may also be required to assist with and lead the production of bids for new work opportunities.
Working in an SC Security Cleared environment. You will have current SC or DV (Developed vetting) or be eligible to undertake clearance.
The Role:
As the Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of customer projects, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget and to the agreed scope quality standards, across the organisation's wide range of Estates and Security services. You will also be required to assist with and lead the production of bids for new work opportunities.
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential
Technical Skills:
PRINCE2 Practitioner, APMP, ISEB Certificate or Equivalent Project Management qualifications.
Demonstrable significant experience of planning, monitoring and controlling projects using PRINCE2, APM or other PM related methodologies.
Extensive experience in planning and delivering medium complexity, multi-skilled construction projects with values ranging up to 5M.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including the latest versions of Microsoft Project.
Significant experience in the assessment, mitigation and management of project risk.
Significant experience in managing project budgets from a supplier perspective.
Demonstrable ability to manage and deliver multiple projects within tight timescales and with limited resources, in a number of varied and unique operational environments with numerous technical, political, security, support and logistical challenges.
Demonstrable ability of sound planning and control of a project and its dependencies
Experience of Project Health and Safety including CDM 2015 regulations and associated documentation from the supplier perspective.
