TV Systems Test Engineer (Contract)

WA Consultants is currently looking for a contract TV Systems Engineer for a client in Bristol.
Our client is looking for an experienced Software Tester with specialised knowledge of HbbTV (Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV) and CI+ (Common Interface Plus) standards. You will have a strong background in running test suites, utilising Jira for issue tracking, and testing TV's from a variety of brands.
Essential skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on HbbTV and CI+ standards.
- Proficient in running and managing test suites for television software.
- Strong experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
- Demonstrated ability to test and troubleshoot software on TV products from various brands.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for technology and a commitment to staying informed about industry developments.
