We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated European Transport Client Shipping Co-ordinator to join our client's team based in Langley Slough As the Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination, management, and profitability of the European transport operations.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Managing the export/import processes for road freight shipments.Planning and coordinating transport routes and daily schedules for Europe, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.Arranging customer collections, packing services, and deliveries.Working closely with customers and office staff to plan routes, schedule delivery times, and coordinate drivers and vehicles.Coordinating with customs for clearance and managing customs entry exceptions.Managing EU airfreight and EU road courier shipments.Resolving client/supplier problems and complaints.Coordinating all aspects of shipping fine art and antiques.Assessing client's individual needs, communicating and guiding them through the shipping process.Quoting and coordinating domestic and international shipments.Handling paperwork including documentation, bills of lading, customs clearance, and invoicing.Producing operational reports and cost analysis.Key Attributes:Proven track record and knowledge of domestic and European transport operations and planning.Good knowledge of current EU transport legislation and customs procedures.Experience in dealing with high-end clients and goods.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships.Ability to work independently and manage priorities.Commercially focused with consideration of end-to-end costs.In addition to a competitive salary of £30-£35,000 per year, our client offers a range of perks including pension contribution matching.
