UI/UX Designer - FX Options/Risk/E-Rates (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £650 - £850 per day + Via Umbrella
 

A major hedge fund client I'm working with is looking for a UI/UX designer to join their team based in London on a long term contract.

This role will be working on a hybrid policy 2-3 days a week in the office, where the successful candidate will be paid £650-850Per Day subject to experience

?????????Role Description

  • role within the FX Derivatives and Risk team to build and extend FX Options and Risk Front End application suite.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user interfaces for React applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Create wireframes and mockups to visualize UI design ideas.
  • Build prototypes to communicate user experience designs
  • Understand project requirements, user personas and business processes to inform elegant and functional UI/UX designs.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in UI/UX design tools (Figma etc) and web development (HTML and CSS)
  • Familiarity with Front End web development technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript and React.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design work for web applications.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, bitbucket)
  • Candidate must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in designing UI applications for finance.

Nice to have

  • Hedgefund/Investment bank experience
  • Good knowledge and experience using canvas for creating dynamic and interactive elements within web applications.
