IT Workstream Lead (Permanent)

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon Country: UK Rate: £45k - £55k + 17.5% annual bonus + benefits package

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an IT Workstream Lead. In this role, you'll take charge of planning and executing IT work stream-activities, ensuring adherence to standards, policies, and agreements, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery.

Reporting to the IT Applications Delivery Manager, you'll lead, plan, track, and report on IT projects and work-stream activities, following IT best practices, Delivery Governance, and the Secure Software Development Life Cycle Framework ensuring stakeholders, dependencies, cost, quality, and time are managed within agreed parameters.

As an IT Workstream lead, you'll agree, measure, and implement IT project milestones, engaging with IT Service Owners, Change Managers and Project Managers to ensure project deliverables meet agreed IT Service Delivery Standards. You'll also be responsible for anticipating, monitoring, managing, and reporting on IT issues and risks in line with NFU Mutual Risk Policy and our IT Delivery Processes. You'll keep risks visible and resolve or mitigate them to protect project deliverables and maintain agreed quality standards.

You'll lead and motivate IT project and delivery teams in conjunction with Project Managers and IT Service Owners, evaluating and providing feedback on the performance of IT work-stream teams and individuals to promote employee development and maximize their contribution to business objectives.

With the guidance of the Group IT Service Owner, Group Procurement, Group IT, and Legal departments, you'll assist and coordinate the sourcing, selection, procurement, and management of third-party suppliers and services.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working within change/project management within an IT Division
  • Stakeholder management skills, including influencing and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation skills and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skill, with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop effective solutions
