2nd Line Service Desk (Contract)

Location: Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, England Country: UK Rate: £220 per day
 

SCC Flex Contract: 2nd Line Service Desk - £220 per day - Inside IR35 - Haddenham - Onsite

As an 2nd Line Service Desk, you will:

  • Communicate with users to troubleshoot and resolve issues, creating process improvement articles.
  • Provide desktop support services within defined service levels, ensuring appropriate urgency.
  • Collaborate with other support teams to resolve issues.
  • Install and manage devices and peripheral equipment.
  • Ensure timely response to assistance requests, keeping users informed.
  • Transfer business and technical knowledge to improve first-call resolution rates.
  • Provide out-of-hours support for high-priority incidents.
  • Assist IT projects with hardware decommissioning and rack removal.

The successful 2nd Line Service Desk will have experience in:

  • Experience in supporting Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, Windows 7/10.
  • Customer-facing support experience at levels 1 and 2.
  • Proficient in applying operational procedures within KPIs and SLAs.
