Information Security Cloud Consultant (Contract)

Location: City of London Country: UK
 

Initial 6 month contract with high likelihood of extension.
London, Hybrid (Office 2-3 days p/w)
You MUST have the right to work in the UK

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as a cloud security subject matter expert across core Azure cloud platforms
  • Assess if current Azure configurations meet security, regulatory and industry standards
  • Define and document required Azure security improvements and configurations
  • Recommend Azure security solutions for new capabilities and systems
  • Represent Information Security and advise business stakeholders
  • Maintain specialist knowledge in assigned security processes, systems or frameworks
  • Provide guidance for supplier due diligence and risk assessments
  • Respond to queries on information security from bank branches
  • Deputize for manager when needed

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven cloud security expertise with Azure services like Identity, Security, Compliance, Defender and DevOps
  • Demonstrable technical and non-technical information security experience
  • Ability to influence decisions and mitigate risks across stakeholders
  • Collaborative with excellent relationship building skills
  • Balances risk, controls and commercial considerations
  • Clearly documents requirements, risks and solutions
  • Creative and effective problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning, organizing and prioritization abilities
