Our esteemed partner has embarked on a transformative journey, starting with a groundbreaking project focused on retail, entertainment, and hospitality for a renowned sports team with a global brand and fan base. Together, we aim to optimize CRM data processes, automate operations, and ensure data compliance and security, propelling our client's engagement strategies to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Optimize CRM Data Processes: Streamline CRM data pipelines for swift and efficient handling of data requests, facilitating agile marketing responses and informed decision-making.
  2. Automate and Enhance Operational Efficiency: Implement automation in CRM data tasks to reduce manual workload and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  3. Collaborative Support: Work closely with the client's existing data engineering team to share best practices, foster knowledge transfer, and strengthen their capabilities.
  4. Data Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations, implementing robust security measures to safeguard fan databases.
  5. Continuous Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor system implementations for optimal functionality and make necessary enhancements to drive ongoing performance improvement.

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Engineer specializing in CRM optimization, you will play a pivotal role in delivering scalable technical solutions that empower our client's business growth. Your responsibilities will include understanding client requirements, leveraging data environments for strategic insights, and providing comprehensive data engineering support to CRM initiatives. This role is Embedded within our Data Driven Performance Practice, collaborating closely with our Data and Campaign Management teams to deliver end-to-end capabilities across customer experience, data activation, pricing, performance management, and tech strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in a range of languages, tools, services, and applications, with a strong preference for:
    • Cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
    • CRM Campaign management tools, with Braze experience preferred.
    • Dashboarding and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, and PowerBI.
  • Cloud data engineering accreditations and certifications are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, resolving problems and delivering technical data solutions while contributing to product development and delivery.
  • Previous experience in marketing and customer management applications is desirable.
  • Highly organized, independent, and self-motivated, capable of consistently delivering high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions to stakeholders at all levels.
