Site Supervisor - Planned Maintenance (Permanent)

Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Country: UK Rate: £36989 - £41241 per annum
 

Adecco specialist Property services division North is delighted to be partnering with an amazing Housing provider based in Yorkshire who is looking to recruit 3 permanent Site Supervisors to become part of Technical Services - Planned Department.

Purpose
Postholder to be responsible for the day to day planning, organising and controlling an efficient and cost effective work force for allocated areas of responsibility using direct labour and sub-contractors;

Duties
* be responsible for specific projects and/or ongoing areas of contract work within the Technical Services Planned team leading both small and medium sized teams;
* implement effective performance management systems to meet corporate and service areas requirements, to achieve continuous service improvement and the development of a performance management culture;
* adhere to and apply legislation, Organisational Policies and Procedures and Financial Regulations as appropriate;
* ensure work undertaken is accurately recorded, with documentation appropriately processed in line with organisational processes and procedures;

Candidate requirements
* minimum a qualification at Level 3 of the Regulated Qualification Framework in a relevant construction related field; NVQ/HNC/SMSTS/IOSH/NEBOSH or related to the construction and built environment; -or willing to obtain
* First Aid at work
* Good understanding of Health and Safety Legislation and CDM Regulations with the ability to apply these to Technical Services projects.
* experience of supervising a multi-disciplinary workforce including in house labour, specialist service suppliers and sub-contractors;

Salary and Benefits
* £36,989 - £41,241
* 37 hours work/week
* 25 days holiday (rising to 30 over 5 years service) + statutory bank holidays;
