Senior Business/Finance Manager - Financial Services (Contract)
Location: Belfast Country: UK Rate: £500 - £600 per day
Senior Business/Finance Manager sought by leading financial services organisation based in Belfast.
*Inside IR35 - 3 days a week onsite.*
The Business Management team is responsible for the groups ongoing planning, administrative and organisational development activities.
This includes management of the technology budget, headcount planning, vendor management, senior management reporting, leading culture and communications initiatives as well as providing ongoing support to the technology leadership team
The Business Manager is a senior level position responsible for working within our team to drive the overall administrative activities of the business. The Business Manager coordinates and manages activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs as necessary. Manages ad hoc projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Complete financial deliverables including monthly forecasts, the annual investment process, client reporting and ad hoc requests
- Work with diverse stakeholders such as Chief of Staff teams, Finance, HR, Central Business Office etc.
- Assist leadership/Chief of Staff in execution financial responsibilities, promoting and executing communications program
- Prepare materials and follow-up as needed on items for business committees and/or regular business meetings
- Look for ways to streamline processes including the use of automation
- Assist leadership and stakeholders with developing projects, determining strategies, and defining/providing metrics
- Drive implementation of business-driven projects across functions, working closely with relevant senior leadership
- Advance organization/people strategy goals including communications strategy, talent strategy, and employee engagement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in financial markets business or business support
- Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office product suite; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint essential
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience operating in a similar role
