Systems Engineer/Project Engineer - London - £350-£400 per day

A very well known and respected organisation is looking for an independent and organised contract Systems Engineer to take on a key role within the company.

You'll have the technical expertise at 2nd Line (with a touch of 3rd Line) to manage, maintain and troubleshoot an environment featuring MS tools and Servers, and also Mac devices and operating systems. Alongside your technical experience, you'll also need to be a highly effective communicator across all business levels.

This role is key within the organisation as it will also entail elements of requirements gathering, project coordination and solution implementation for a wide spectrum of technical needs. You'll be expected to be able to elicit requirements from business stakeholders, building user journeys and creating user stories to ascertain the most efficient and effective solutions or present business cases to executive colleagues for a potential project.

Key technical experience:

  • Windows & Mac OS X Operating Systems
  • Office 365, Exchange and SharePoint, Microsoft Teams
  • Windows Server & SQL Server
  • Active Directory/Azure AD
  • SCCM/Endpoint, InTune
  • Apple, Android & Microsoft Mobile Devices
  • Remote Desktop Services
  • Audio-Visual and meeting room equipment

Project Coordination experience:

  • Ability to assess requirements with a Cloud-first approach
  • Provide business case recommendations
  • Lead implementation, testing and training on newly developed solutions
  • Clear and concise documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with any internal or external stakeholders
