Who we're looking for:

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team in the automotive industry? OPENLANE, a leader in automotive remarketing, is looking for a Security Guard with experience in inventory control and customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a security capacity.

This position works from 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday with flexibility for other possible shift coverage if needed.

• Adaptable. You'll go with the flow and can prioritize tasks to keep traffic flowing at our gate.

• Helpful. You'll interact with a broad range of customers, contractors, transporters, and coworkers.

• Careful. You are mindful of your surroundings, working safely and carefully.

You Will:

• Ensure site security by maintaining the auction perimeter; verifying proper clearance for personnel and customers, transporters, and supply companies; and completing rounds

• Inventory, record, and store personal property from repossessed vehicles.

• May be responsible for completing vehicle stock in/check-out, using a handheld device

• Look up AuctionTrac data for customers, guiding them to where the inventory is located

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting dealers with various procedures and requests in an efficient and timely manner

Must Haves:

• 1-3 years experience in a Security role is preferred

• High School diploma or equivalent

• A valid Class 5 Drivers' license is required

• Valid Alberta BST license

• Basic computer & smartphone skills

• Experience working outside in all weather conditions

• Strong customer service and communication skills

Nice to Haves:

• First Aid/CPR certification

• Ability to drive both standard & automatic transmissions
