Our client are a top tier consultancy looking for a Content Designer on a 6 months contract.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
• Create user interface designs, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that align with GDS principles and best practices.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing results to improve usability and accessibility.
• Ensure that design solutions comply with accessibility standards and government regulations.
• Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to stakeholders and project teams.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the implementation of designs is pixel-perfect and maintains design integrity.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Designer with a focus on user-centered design.
• Experience working within the Government Digital Service (GDS) framework is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive and visually appealing design solutions.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating findings into design iterations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality design work.
